the wollombi valley market.

the wollombi valley market.

mr relish and I packed up our tent, a few boxes of relish and jumped in the car for an adventure to the Wollombi Valley market during the Queens Birthday long weekend. Located at the Wollombi saleyards in the heart of the historic colonial village of Wollombi, it takes just over an hour or so from Sydney (just before Cessnock in the Hunter Valley wine region). The market is held four times a year on the Monday of each long weekend and...

back to normal.kind of.

3 weeks post good food & wine show ‘09 and things are officially back to normal! Well kinda. We needed a little break after the build up of the show, but mr.relish decided to take that a bit too literally and broke his leg last week!!! Now there’s only five whole days to go until we set up and...

mardi gras fair day 09.

What an interesting event this one was! Unfortunately the rain played a big part in making this outdoor event a lot trickier than we predicted, and with council restricting us from driving on the grass to unload and set up, things were challenging from the get-go. The thunderstorms, mud and rain obviously had an influence over the attendance thus effected sales, but it was still a successful day with lots of interested, and ...
